# Episode #336 – Supergirl, with Glen Weldon

If we have [Glen Weldon](https://twitter.com/ghweldon?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor), co-host of the [Pop Culture Happy Hour](https://www.npr.org/podcasts/510282/pop-culture-happy-hour) podcast and author of the marvelous [Superman: The Unauthorized Biography](https://www.amazon.com/Superman-Unauthorized-Biography-Glen-Weldon/dp/1118341848) on as a guest, you’d better believe we’re gonna go down one of the many fascinating cul-de-sacs in the “super” cinematic universe — in this case 1984’s “[Supergirl](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088206/),” or — as we prefer to think about it — The Adventures of Faye Dunaway’s Fabulous Witch and Her Companions.
