This movie seems to be based on the second, rebooted CG cartoon of the Max Steel franchise.
I really liked the far superior original from 2000 as a child. It was action-packed and full of crazy SF gadgets and setpieces. Not to mention smart, being written by Greg Weisman of Gargoyles fame. What other kid’s show from that time, or since, referenced Camus’ The Stranger in its opening ep?

The always-excellent Mary Roach in her book “Gulp” about the digestive system goes into detail about how much nutrition remains in excrement, and which animals take advantage of this. (It really depends on the animal: rabbits really seem to need to re-digest, apes mostly just have to do seeds twice.)
I’m surprised that a letter’s reference to a ‘crocidolite’ mispronunciation as being ‘the crocodile version of dolomite’ could pass without considering the value of redoing the ‘Dolomite’ movies with a crocodile in the lead. The seduction and kung fu scenes might seem more realistic….
