That movie needed 5 or 8 more scenes where a vehicle barely (and completely unbelievably) outraced the destruction all around it. Then it could have been 4 hours too long, instead of 2.
Once Ebert gave 2012 four stars I stopped reading his reviews. I mean I get that he gave it four stars for being the end all be all of disaster movies but seriously how could you even like that goddamn movie?
Just the dirt worst disaster movie I've ever watched at 2 am while dealing with a baby who was sick. IT WOULD NOT END! Great, giant boats, I'm so glad these characters I hate will float away to safety.
Free ranging conversation about bad movies with a comedy focus. Hosted by Elliott Kalan, Dan McCoy, and Stuart Wellington (early episodes sub Simon Fisher for Elliott). Theme music by Keith Burgun. Flop House logo courtesy of John McCoy
Listener Testimonials: "Your banter is of some of the finest quality to be found out in the podcast universe."
"This show is really the best hour of comedy out there. Not including The View."
"Funny, engaging, clever-silly and the right side of laddish, and crucially for any snark-based media, they have a genuine love for their subject matter and treat excoriating the awful as a public service."
"I have fallen hopelessly in love with Stuart Wellington."
