So during the long break of new casts, I decided to go through all the old casts again and I unearthed this treasure buried in the Perfect Stranger podcast. Upon learning of Simon's eminent departure Daniel said this:
"If he [Simon] does come back, the chair will be open for him.
[And] we will kick whoever's ass right out."
So now that you have the "original peaches," what will happen if Simon returns? Will you keep your vow or has Elliot usurped Simon's throne forever?
I like to think of those days as an alternate Flophouse reality, where Stewart has an Evil mustache (as opposed to his Good mustache)...and on that grape nut, what, if anything, did this movie have to do with Gerard Butler?
Good point. This has been turning into the "Rag on Gerard Butler Cast" as of late. Not that I'm complaining really.
Matt: I think Simon is happy with his life working for a design firm and dating some lovely lady in Indiana.
But, more to the point, what does Surrogates have to do with Gerard Butler?? Did none of you listen to the time we wasted comparing this film to Gamer? GET ON THE BALL, PEOPLE.
I'm pretty sure my mind instantly deletes any references to "Gamer" that it hears, for it's own protection.
Well good for Simon, but I wanted to hear some podcast drama with Simon and Elliot fighting for supremacy of the vacated throne and then perhaps a shocking twist ending in which we find out Elliot really is Simon!
PS Dan, you're right we totally dropped the ball, I am listening to the podcast again as penance.
