And if you want to get totally technical about it, Elliott's Emmy nomination is for his work writing for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and not for his off-the-cuff comments on The Flop House. (Especially since podcasts aren't eligible for Emmys. What's up with that, Television Academy of Arts and Sciences?)
But why would you be a dick and point all that out?
Anyway, we're counting it. And we're congratulating our Flop House colleague on the richly-deserved recognition. Now go out and bring home that statue, buddy! Mainly because we're curious to see if it's as pointy as it looks.

Hot dogs here! Get your hot dogs here!
Elliott should always be reminded that he is nominated as part of a team, lest his ego inflate to Up proportions and pull him from his humble collaborative roots, leaving him pompous, coked-up and crying in his Flop Room with members of Mr. Whitepants (yeah, that one).
