Yeah, I know we've been taking a fair amount of time off lately, but it's the end of the summer! Whaddaya want from us (especially with MVP Elliott Kalan still off covering the political conventions here, there, and everywhere)?
Anyway, it's Labor Day, and I know that if there's one thing John Sayles' Matewan told me, it's that we have the right to take a break from our podcasting once in a while. Rest assured, that we'll be back to our normal schedule next week, after we're done with all our socialist unionizing.
We're joined by comedian and BestWeekEver.tv blogger Sara Schaefer to discuss Vantage Point, the movie that proves that any flimsy concept can be stretched to 85 minutes with the strategic deployment of flashbacks. Meanwhile, Sara reveals her tragic film-memory affliction, Stuart poses a provocative animal question, and Dan reveals a surprising amount of Funky Winkerbean knowledge.

Due to Elliott being tied up at work, Dan going on a brief vacation, and Stu being unable to function without the other two, there will be no new Flop House this weekend. Think of it as the podcasting version of everyone heading out of town one last time in August, to escape before their crushing fall-winter seasonal affective disorder kicks in.
However, check back in two weeks when we make our triumphant return, complete with the announcement of the Flop House contest winner!
We talk with the listeners, walk with the listeners.
